Jon looked down and saw that he had dropped the bracelet. He scanned the floor for it, then spotted it. But before he could get to it, someone else picked it up. It was Biff Meadows, the captain of the football team. Without even thinking about it, he was compelled to slip it on his wrist. Karyn was shocked. But Jon didn't know why.
