Donning an Elven Necklace

Jon slipped the necklace onto his neck. As he reached behind himself to fasten the clasp, the flat stonework set in the centre of it began to glow a dull blue. It brightened for a moment then faded back to normal. At the same time Jon's eyes took on a distant, glazed look, then slowly consciousness rushed back to fill them with life. Karyn looked to her friend, concerned. What had just happened to him? "Allaria?" She asked. "Are you all right?"
