"This is my new friend, Linda. We're just playing," Stacy said, with mock innocence.
"It's time to go home," Jon said. He could wish this whole thing away...he hoped.
"Awww.." his mother said. "Do I have to?"
Jon looked at her. "You live here."
"Nuh-uh," she insisted.
"Linda just moved here," Stacy said. "Can I walk home with her?"
