Karyn McMillan

Suddenly there was a bright flash of light that caused her to look away. When she looked back, Sarah was gone. In her place was a girl that lived in the neighborhood. He name was Karyn, she thought. "Mom, what are you looking at?" she said to Janet. "Sarah?" "Who's Sarah? Mom, my name Karyn. You know, your daughter." Janet just stared at her and Karyn suddenly got angry. "Geez, Mom. Maybe you should go see a shrink or something." She walked past Janet, who was still staring at her. Karyn was *acting* like Sarah and was *dressing* like Sarah, but she wasn't Sarah. She was Karyn. Her "new" daughter: Karyn McMillan. Right before opening the front door, Karyn turned around and looked at her mother. "By the way, I'll be at the mall." "When will you be back?" "Ugh. Do I have to tell you everything? I'll be back when I'm back." And with that, she left.
