Meanwhile, Karyn stopped by Jon's house, where she got a shock. "Jon? What ... what *happened* to you?" she asked, seeing his "new" form. "Mikey got the stone from me and he wished up some sort of a transformation gun. He used it on me and now I'm a girl from my waist down." "Well, where did he go? We need to get the stone back!" "I know that! But I can't leave. He told me to stay here." Karyn seemed clearly confused. So, Jon explained. "He made a wish that everyone would have to obey him. I can't leave because he *told* me not to leave." "Then *I'll* go get the stone from him." Karyn turned to leave. "It's too dangerous. Not only does he have the stone, but also that gun. He could turn you into a freak with that thing." "I have to risk it. Your brother is obviously the wrong person to have that kind of power. *Someone* has to stop him." Jon figured that she was right and let her go. Although, Karyn wasn't quite sure where Mikey went.
