At Karyn's House

"I wish I would trade places with Jon." There was a flash of blinding green light, and suddenly Mikey was no longer in his bedroom, but instead somewhere totally foreign to him. "Jon, don't just stand there. Let's go," said a girl he recognized as his brother's best friend Karyn. He must have been at *her* house. He walked with her out to the street and then they walked to the mall. Karyn talked the whole time, but Mikey didn't say a word, which she noticed when they finally got to the mall. "What's with you, Jon? You haven't said anything since we left my house."
