Pamela Kim was a not unattractive Asian girl. She wore glasses, but she thought they fit her personality better than contacts, which hurt her eyes anyway. Before Zoe/Mikey's accidental wish, she wouldn't be caught dead with Zoe. Their friendship in the current reality extended back to elementary school, and without the friendship of a nice girl like Zoe, she had been shy and withdrawn. Zoe's kid brother let her in.
