Confusion Times Two

Mikey stirred awake. He had the most terrifying nightmare. As he sat up, though, he discovered that it wasn't a nightmare at all but actually *real*. He had switched places with his mother. But where was his original body? How long had he been out? He stood up and slowly walked into his room. It was strange walking around in his mother's body. Then he sat on the bed. "Mom?" a voice coming from behind him said. He recognized the voice immediately. It was *his*. He turned around and saw his original self. But why had his mother called *him* "Mom"? "What are you doing in my room?" the boy asked. "It's *my* room. Mom, what happened? Did my wish not get granted right?" Mikey asked, mostly to himself, since he didn't think his mom knew fully about the wishing stone. "Why are you calling me that?" Now Mikey knew that something *had* gone terribly wrong with his wish. And thing was, so did the boy standing in the room with him.
