Dinner

Dinner seemed an odd parody of normal. Kyla also seemed to be a better cook than his mother. The way she was, it was getting harder to think of her not as Mom...if a 2nd one. The witch at the table was apparently named Sarah, and remained silent, except when 'Mom tried to engage her in conversation. Mikey wondered if she could help him with his magic problem. Zoe was polite, calling Kyla Mrs. Madison, and talking about about some poetry she was writing. Zoe wrote poetry. Karyn had not. And Karyn was shooting interested looks at Zoe, like Jon had, as if it wasn't obvious to everyone but them they were a couple.
