Tiffany, still pregnant, waddled out of bed and headed off into the early morning. She walked many blocks, not the best idea for someone in her condition, and finally entered an apartment building, slipping into one of the ground floor apartments. She donned a smart blue conservative dress, which adjusted itself around her pregnant belly, and a pair of sandals, then blinked. She began looking around for her bag. It was hard enough being a teacher, much less a single teacher with a baby coming and no husband. She was surprised the school board hadn't fired her, especially with the rumors the father was one of the students. Tiffany Robertson hurried off the school, now certain she would be late.
