Karyn's Morning

Karyn rolled over and hit the alarm with a huge smile on her face. She couldn't remember ever having slept better than she did the previous night. Having all the soft fur to snuggle with must have completely improved her sleeping habits, because she was usually in a terrible mood in the morning. Then she looked over at her night stand and stifled a scream. It was gone. The rock was gone. Barely able to hold back her panic, she searched all around the nightstand, under her covers, and in her bed but she couldn't find it. Slowly it began to dawn on her. She was going to have to go to school like that.
