"Yeah, that's it," said Meg, "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough & doggoneit, people like me." And in essence, that's exactly what happened. Everyone started to give Meg compliments, especially after they realized what it could for themselves. She easily became popular. "Meg, you are so georgeous today," a cheerleader said, instantly becoming beautiful herself. As Meg sat down for Algebra, Mr. Smith (her math teacher) couldn't help but notice how all of the girls seemed to be dying for her attention. Usually, they always avoided her. "My, Meg," he stated, "it seems you've become quite a popular girl, haven't you?"
