Suddenly Sharon turned and with a slight hissing noise handed the mike over to Ricki Saotome a Japanese immigrant who had surpassed Sharon in every field of endeavor, from scholastics to the athletics, from getting a boyfriend to keeping him. Ricki had passed her as if she were standing still. Even Ricki's parents were richer and far more important than hers. Still Sharon was grateful, it had been hard but she had learned humility, and that she is not the best had helped her to begin to thaw the ice queen image she had gained before. Now she was going to try to be a better person. Jon watching the proceedings, somehow felt the changes coming over Sharon and realized this was the fulfillment of his wish. Now what would he do next. AS Jon pondered this, Ricki's younger sister came up and kissed him. Kimiko Saotome was as good an athlete as her sister, allowing for age and she indicated she wanted him to follow her.
