She wondered why Jon had suddenly expressed an interest in a job like that. "Maybe he is getting in touch with his feminine side." She said out loud with a laugh as she walked up to the front door of her house. 'It would be nice to have a daughter instead of a son. It would be so much easier if Jon was a girl.' She thought to herself. Digging into her purse, looking keys, she came across the rock as she said. "Yes, sometimes I just wish Jon was a pretty girl." Shane starred at Jane. When she had told Jon that he was and had always been a girl, she had expected some change in his attitude, but not this. What had started out to be a bit of fun, had gone too far.
