Jane rummaged around in the purse until she found it. "I got it," she said, pulling it out. "_What_ are you doing, going through my purse?" came Jon's voice. Jane and Karyn turned and saw Jon standing there (though Karyn really just saw Jon's mother Jane), his hands on his hips and a stern look on his made-up face. "Quick, let me have it," Karyn said, holding out her hand. Jane gave it to her. "Okay, I wish ..." she began, trying to think of something to help the situation they were in.
