After a few minutes of running after it, the robot turned a corner and seemed to disappear. "Great! This is **just** great! Now we're stuck here forever," Jon said to Karyn. "Keep your voice down, Jon. We haven't lost the stone. We know that the robot came this way. Maybe it's hiding." "Okay, well, let's look for it, then," Jon said, trying to settle himself down. In an alcove just a hundred feet or so up the alley, the robot thought to itself *HOW MUCH IS THIS ITEM WORTH? I WISH I KNEW.* Then all of a sudden, the robot **knew**. It was priceless. It was a one-of-a-kind item. Humans would pay quadrillions of dollars for such an item. *I WISH I KNEW WHY IT IS SO VALUABLE.* Then, again, he **knew**. It was a wishing stone. It granted wishes to anyone (apparently robots, as well) who touched it and said the words **I wish** followed by what they wanted to wish for. Because of this reason, the robot decided to keep the stone. Jon and Karyn were only about ten feet away, when suddenly they heard the robot talking. It was saying those two words that they hoped no one but themselves would be saying. The robot held the stone and said "I WISH ..."
