Karyn Does Remember

Walking into Jon's bedroom, Karyn said "I wish ..." But then she stopped. The room she walked into *wasn't* Jon's room. It looked more like an office. Where *was* Jon? And what happened to his room? Unknown to Karyn, Jon had made a wish (the previous night) to make Karyn always remember him. It was a safety precaution, in case a really stupid wish was made that changed reality so that she *wouldn't* remember him. However, since Karyn didn't know about that wish, she was confused. Jon's mom still remembered him, and *she* still remembered him, but his bedroom didn't exist and apparently neither did he. "I wish to know what happened to Jon." The stone glowed and Karyn suddenly had a memory inserted into her mind. It was like she was in the room with them, watching. With a flash, she gained the memories of all that transpired this morning. Karyn was so enameled with her new memories, so she didn't hear Jon's mom leaving the house for work. She did, however, hear his mom's car start up. And that's what sent her out the door after her. Unfortunately, Karyn was going after the wrong pantyhose. The ones that were Jon were in the washing machine, being cleaned at that very moment.
