A Second Chance

Karyn wasn't very specific about what she was talking about when she made her wish. So, after the light from the stone's flash dissipated, she watched as time reversed itself to the moment Jon was trying to get the stone out of the box. She sighed with relief. The outcome of her wish could have been much worse. At least this gave her another chance to make the *right* wish, or at least make sure that Jon didn't drop it. However, if he *did* drop it again, she'd have to make sure she was the one that picked it up again. Who knew what terrible things could happen if Jon's mother or Zoe got their hands on it? Scarlet touched the evidence box with her magic necklace and it opened. Then Jon picked up the stone ... again.
