Jon is okay, really!

Karyn asked Jon if he was okay, attempting to verbally spur him on toward responding in some way. "Jon? You okay?" "I'm thinking." Karyn blinked, "About what?" "What to wish for." "But I thought you didn't want to make any wishes?" "But I also know that it's pointless to try not to, the stone would either entice one of us to do something stupid, or lure in somebody else to make a wish *on* or *for* one of us without even realizing it." Suddenly Jon smiled, as if to a private joke, "You should hear some of the stuff mom's wished for without knowin' it." Karyn chuckled and tried to imagine what she might have wished for. A wish to make Jon dress nicer? And maybe to keep his room clean, and get rid of those dirty magazines? Heck, Karyn could even see his mother wishing she could get 'her little boy back'. THAT brought a funny picture to mind, though in such a case she probably would have felt left-out... Jon groaned, "Damn but this is hard... there are a lot of bad ideas, but a lot of good ones, too, but I just can't decide on what I *really* want out of all that mess!" "Then maybe something totally different?" "Oh really? Howzat?" "You could turn into a cute, fuzzy little kitty-cat!" Jon didn't even blink, "Done it." Karyn stopped for a moment, "Well, um... we could... uh..." "Exactly." And so the duo sat, contemplating the single most difficult, as well as oddest question they'd ever had to face in their sofar seemingly short lives... "We could have hot sex right here?"
