An Odd Meeting

When Jon got to school, he told Karyn about his dream. And she confirmed that it **was** just a dream. She thought the part of the dream where she wishes to have blond hair and bigger breasts was kinda funny, if a bit awkward, but as Jon saw, Karyn's body had not been changed. They went on through the day as usual, but Jon kept thinking about that dream and how it had seemed so real. At lunch, he talked to Karyn about the stone that was in his dream. Together, they fantasized about what they would do with a wishing stone if it actually existed. And afterwards, Jon had a feeling like it really **was** real. That the stone really **did** exist. He shrugged it off, but at the end of the school day, he felt it again. On his way home, he had an odd meeting with someone from school: Allison Brown. Jon didn't really know her very well. She was just someone he passed in the hallway. But now, she came by and just started up a conversation with him. "Hey, Jon." "Uh, hi?" "You probably don't know me." "Um, Allison. Isn't it?" "Yes. Yes, that's right." "What do you want?" "I just wanted to tell you that the crow flies by tonight." "Excuse me?" "The crow." "Yes?" "Well, it was nice meeting you. Bye." And then she left. The whole thing was just very **odd**.
