"What the hell?" she said. "I'm still black?!" She looked up at Jon. "What? I didn't do anything." But then he touched his forehead. "Wait a minute." "What? What did you do?" "I might have accidentally used the stone last night." "What?!" "I was tired, Karyn. I think I wished that you'd stay like that. I didn't know I was touching the stone. Really, I didn't." Karyn wasn't sure what to do. She was stuck as a "black beauty" for the rest of her life.
