Boys Dress Like Girls: A Peek Ahead

Jonni was nervous walking to school with his little sister. And he had every right to be. He didn’t know what to expect when he got there, other than the fact that seemingly every trace of masculinity had done a vanishing act. He still did have gym shoes, for some reason, but other than that, it was all different. The feeling of walking in a skirt was foreign and constantly noticeable. To get his mind off of everything, Jonni decided to pull out his phone and look through it. He first went to the contacts. There were some names he didn't recognize and a few he could guess who they were. Corinne Black (_Karyn?_ he wondered), Jade Duncan, Tiffany Sanders. Others were foreign and he could barely tell if they were boys or girls: Sugar Moss, Dakota McKenzie, Mycah Wildrose, SamLyn Gomez. There were a lot more people in general, actually. _Wonder what Sarah is like in this reality._ Jonni realized he also didn't know his schedule, so he pulled up the official school app and reviewed it: > _First Period: Competitive Dance Second Period: English Third Period: Makeup Art Fourth Period: Lunch Fifth Period: US Government Sixth Period: Chemistry Seventh Period: Home Economics_ As he went to take his phone off of that screen, he noticed finally that even his nails were painted, a crisp and clean white. _I wonder what I'm gonna see when I get there,_ he shuddered.
