A week had passed since Jon and Karyn discovered the rock surprisingly Jon hadn’t made any wishes yet but for Karyn it was nightmare as she was constantly being gazed at by boys like she was a piece of meat. After one week she had enough of the attention. The next morning she got up with Jon they walked to school. What Jon didn’t realise that his backpack wasn’t zipped up entirely about a minute from school the rock had dropped out. Karyn saw this and instead of giving it to Jon she decided to keep it for the day just incase she ever wanted to make a wish without Jon realising. Throughout the day Karyn was constantly getting harassed by boys for constantly looking at her chest. The girls weren’t much better as Sarah McMillan was getting the girls to accuse her of being a slag and desperate for showing of her body despite all of her mates doing the exact same thing. Karyn was getting fed up with it and just wanted it to stop. Even Jon was acting weird as every time Karyn looked away for a second he would get glimpse at her boobs. Then during history with Mrs Johnson they were discussing Women’s suffrage and how in America they got to vote in 1920. This gave Karyn an idea. She decided to make a wish. She asked Mrs Johnson to go to the bathroom, her excuse was it was her time. Of course Mrs Johnson let her go in Karyn’s pocket she had the rock and then in the cubicle she made her wish. “I wish I lived in a world where it was ran by women and that men world be oppressed the same way women are now.” A huge light came and nothing else.

And thus the world changed and became as it is right now, a world in which women can vote but are exempt from the draft, where women always get custody in a divorce, where the only reproductive choice a man has is the choice between paying child support or going to jail while women get endless choices, where men are forced to pay child support for children that aren’t even theirs, a world where if a woman drugs a man and rapes him while he’s unconscious the courts will still side with her and make him pay child support if she chooses to have his child, a world where domestic violence against men is not taken seriously and all domestic violence shelters accept in only women, where if a man calls the police and tells them he is being attacked by a woman, they will come by and arrest him, while she gets free legal assistance from feminist organizations, and a world where it’s always women and children first and men are expected to sacrifice themselves, and a world where women are exempt from statutory rape laws, a world where a woman can destroy a man’s whole future with one wild accusation with no evidence, where all scholarships that are available to one sex and not the other, are available only to women, where all of STEM industries give preferential hiring to women, and yet after all this, women control the public narrative and have everyone convinced they are oppressed and that men are the privileged ones. Thanks a lot Karyn, such a good friend of Jon’s you turned out to be.
