I searched all around the temple just to make sure it wasn't tucked away somewhere, but to no avail. I walked onward, following a path leading out of the back of the temple grounds. With any luck, the quest would be linear. I encountered several monsters along the way, but they fortunately ignored me. Either it was some strange aspect of the collar or, more likely, because I was now one of them. *Good that I get something out of it...* I had walked until twilight when I heard voices. Not the cruel disembodied voices from the temple, but other players like me. I crept off the path and followed them to their source: a group of people in a small clearing, standing around what appeared to be some sort of crushed scifi vehicle with parts strewn around. "...And channel the fusion core into the wand to release the demon," a tall thin man wearing a Middle East-ish desert outfit, totally out of place in the jungle, was saying. "The *demon* will help us out?" grunted a satyr wearing what I realized after a moment was a bulletproof jacket. "It will be under my direct control," the man said confidently. "We'll get the ship repaired in no time." *Ship? Demon?* I wondered if the men were actual players or characters thought up for the quest. *One way to find out...* I took out my map and aimed it at the man dressed for the desert.
