Jon clicked the stopwatch.
Nothing seemed to really happen, but of course, nothing was moving in Jon's bedroom, so he couldn't really tell. He'd have to leave his room.
But when he got to the door, he couldn't open it. It was unlocked, but it wouldn't budge. Then, just to prove a theory, he walked over to his desk and tried to pick up a pencil. It wouldn't move. It was like it was stuck to the top of the desk.
This was problem that Jon didn't see coming. The stopwatch stopped *everything* except for him. He thought that he could just move things out of the way when time was frozen, but now he knew that he couldn't. He would have to resume normal time to do that.
He clicked the stopwatch again and tried to pick up the pencil. It was an easy task, the pencil was very light. But when he tried to lift it during frozen time, it felt like it weighed a ton.
He left his room and walked downstairs, clicking the stopwatch to freeze time, as he went.
