Just as Jon was saying 'was', Karyn realized what was on Jon's mind and tried to stop him; the only way she could think to, though, was by getting the stone from him. As such, she quickly lunged for for the stone, missing and accidentally scratching Jon's palm with her fingernail, which is what produced the final result:
"I wish Karyn was MY HAND! ACK!"
