Jon Gets Away

When Karyn finally got to Jon's house, she immediately recognized the pick-up truck parked in the driveway. It was the one that had almost run her over. She hesitantly walked up to the house, but then froze when she heard a gunshot go off. She was about to run inside (which was probably the opposite of what she *should* have done), but didn't when she saw Jon materialize in the front yard. She ran over to him. "Jon? Are you okay?" "I think so." He checked himself over, as a man bursted out of the house. It was Bryan Hart. "Come back here you fuckin' kid!" Hart yelled. In his hand was a shotgun. "Who's that?!" Karyn asked. "Some psycho that wants my stone." Jon made a wish and they both disappeared, being sent to some other place where they'd be safe. "Damn it!" Hart yelled. He ran back to his truck and looked at the scanner. The wishing stone was nowhere in range. But one of the other two stones was close enough. It was at the mall.
