Phone Call

Suddenly, the phone rang. Jon walked over and picked it up. "Hello?" said Shannon. "Is this Jon?" "Yeah," said Jon. "So are you really going through with it?" she asked. "I mean, its a really wierd way to show that you like me, Jon. Most people buy flowers or write bad poetry, but *dressing* like me? You wanted some of my *bras* Jon. You don't even have *boobs*." "Well," said Jon. "I *like* you Shannon. You're sexy and funny and smart and sexy." "You just said sexy twice," said Shannon. "I hope that means I'm twice as sexy as any of the other girls, or you're in trouble, mister. Well, I also wanted to call to ask if you wanted to go to a movie with me on Friday. Since we like the same things, I figured you might like this one." Jon gulped. An actual *date* with a girl he had a crush on. He hadn't even been on a date with Karyn, and she was his best friend.
