Guest Room

When Jon could see again, he saw that his room had changed. All of his things were gone. He couldn't figure out where it might have gone. He'd only wished that people would treat him like an elderly woman... Then it occured to him...why would people treat a teenage boy as an elderly woman? Either that would have to be the way they treated all teenage boys now or he would have to be seen by them as an elderly woman. And elderly women didn't have the rooms of teenage boys. A queen-sized bed had replaced his twin-sized one...His shelves were all gone. The room only had a dresser, the bed, and a small desk. The room was utterly impersonal. He noticed a suitcase in the corner...He was a guest in his own home.
