Not What He Wanted

"I wish that for one month I would think that I was Karyn's mother and Karyn thought so too." The stone glowed, causing Jon to close his eyes. When he opened them, he nearly screamed out loud, seeing that he had a *boy's* body. "What ... how? How is this possible?" he yelled hysterically. "Jon? What's wrong?" Jon's mom asked, running into the bathroom. "Jon? I'm not *Jon*," he said. "I'm Bethany." ------ At the same time, Karyn was in her bedroom. It felt like something was in her eyes, so she shut them. And when her eyes opened, she wondered why she was in her daughter's room. She stood up from Karyn's bed and saw herself in the mirror. She screamed when she saw that she *was* her daughter. Her bedroom door flew open and the *real* Bethany ran in. "Honey? What's wrong?" Jon didn't mean for it to be this way, but the stone granted his wish to mean that Jon thought he was Karyn's mother and Karyn thought the same thing - that *she* was her mother.
