Alien Apocalypse: Jon Chooses SOLDIER

Jon looked at the list for a long time before finally deciding which option to pick. He reached up and touched the option labeled SOLDIER. In the blink of an eye, the holographic display disappeared, then a moment later, the darkness of the room was consumed by light. He found himself sitting at a card table in the middle of a tent. Also sitting at the table were two male soldiers, both wearing desert fatigues. He looked down and saw that he was wearing the same. From outside, he could hear a helicopter taking off and a bunch of vehicles moving around. It looked like he really *was* a soldier. The two other guys at the table were laughing and drinking beer. Jon listened in on their conversation. "Yeah, but the worst pain you can get is from a broken leg. I know that from experience," the guy on the left said. "You got your leg broken?" the guy on the right asked. "What? No, a friend of mine did. But he howled like a banshee when it happened." "Well, I've got something even more painful than that." "What?" the left guy asked. "A groin kick." "Ouch. Yeah, that hurts." "I guess *you* don't have to worry about that," the guy on the right said to Jon. "Me? Why me?" Jon asked him. "Well, because you're a woman," he said, as if it was obvious. "I'm a what?"
