Jon Uses the Headset

"I can't believe they turned me into *your* mother," Jon said, noting his new female voice, something he'd have to get used to. "Well, get used to it," Sarah said, in her usual I'm-better-than-you-so-deal-with-it tone. "You'll be like this for six months." "Six *months*?" Sarah grabbed the headset and pushed it into Jon's gut. "Better get going, *Mom*." Jon felt like throwing up. Spending six months as a woman would be bad enough. But spending six months as Sarah McMillan's *mother*? That was ten times worse. But maybe that's why it was chosen as his punishment. Jon sat down on the bed and put the goggles/headphones contraption on, figuring that he had no choice in the matter.
