Jon grabbed his cellphone and called Karyn.
"Karyn? What the hell are you doing?"
"What do you mean?" she said over the phone.
"I was just playing Mario 64 and ..."
She started laughing.
"It's not funny. Mario's dressed like a *girl*. Why did you wish for that?"
"I just thought it'd be funny."
"Karyn, I gave you the stone because I thought you'd make serious wishes with it. Not something like this. I don't think I can trust you with the stone anymore. I'm coming over to get it." He hung up.
Karyn looked down at her phone. "Oh yeah? Well, I wish ..."

Actually of all the branches from “Karyn borrows”, Changing Mario and Luigi to be crossdressers may have been the literal only one that was harmless and therefore not a betrayal of his trust in her so it’s kind of ironic he’s overreacting like this. But I have a feeling she’s going to actually betray his trust from here on.
