"Hey, sweetie," came the voice of his dad (Roger), from the kitchen. Jon walked in there and saw his father, looking thinner than usual, his hair short, but styled, and wearing what looked like a blouse and tight pants. He was wearing make-up and jewelry, and the apron that Jon's mom (Linda) usually wore when she was cooking. Now it was his *dad* who was cooking. It's just new underwear." Jon realized that his dad's reaction to his underwear (which made his bulge more prominent) was similar to how, in the old reality, a mother would chastise her daughter for wearing a too-revealing top, showing too much of her breasts. "Believe me. To girls, it's much more than just new underwear. You have to be careful, honey." "Don't worry, Dad. It's okay," Jon said, then headed out of the kitchen and towards the stairs. He wondered what the rest of his family was like now.
