All this was discussed previously in the Fiction Branches 3 thread (Back when Zach asked for the 10 most asked for suggestions to modify FB3). Granted, nothing's been done, Zach's been too busy. But there were a mountain of ideas that were considered more important then this. As it is, they're stored chronologically, i reckon it's ok. It means it's more like a real choose your own story where some stories lead you to bad/dead end if you dont pick carefully :)
