Clonotron 2000: What was Josh going to do?

Josh looked around the house, and then glanced a the mirror at his mothers face. "This is unreal!" He said out loud. "And she's gonna do this more if I don't do what she says... its like 3 PM now, so I guess I should start cooking then?" He walked into the kitchen and pulled out some ground beef and went for the safe option: Spaghetti. Boiling the pasta he looked at his own face again in the nearby mirror and checked his makeup. Why did he just do that? It felt like a reflex... As he finished the noodles and meat, he pulled out the sauce jars and spices and some veggies from the fridge, getting the steamer ready and steaming broccoli like a pro. Soon as he was setting the table and even enjoying himself a little, his mother returned. and so did his anxiety.
