The Cat: A Talking Cat!

Mrs. Wilson sighed, still stroking the cat. "You know, I wish you *could* talk back to me. Then maybe ..." She stopped suddenly, as the small black cat began to *glow*. "Oh my word!" she yelled out in shock. Was the poor little thing radioactive or something? When the cat stopped glowing, it returned to slurping its milk, as if nothing had happened. "What *happened*?" Mrs. Wilson asked. The cat suddenly stopped drinking its milk and looked up at her. "I just granted your wish," it said. Mrs. Wilson fainted.
