It looked almost exactly like Jon's stone, except that it was one of the Alternate Stones, one of two stones that connected two people. Whatever a person wished for with one stone would be granted to the person who was *closest* to the *other* stone, as if he or she had wished it. Both of the people would remember the previous reality, unless they wished not to.
Jon got one of the stones, but who got the other one?
