*I doubt I'd do it any justice with my original idea...* I beg to differ. I've always enjoyed the chapters that do more exploring and fleshing out of the characters (especially the characters like Sarah who tend to be utterly one-dimensional in most stories,) and the premise you describe here sounds like a *great* opportunity for some of that.
