Am I missing something obvious or is there no way to contact other users specifically for this site even though logging in requires email? I get people wanting to stay private but if they don't it would be kind of nice to be able to directly message each other. I'd love to be able to talk to Enfuego, in particular.

No, you're right. There's no private message system. If an author wants to keep their email private you have no way of contacting them. Only real option is to see if they're on discord. Or propose it to Phoenix and see if he wants to incorporate a PM system.
