The stone he put in its place looked *exactly* like Jon's stone, except that its surface was as smooth as glass. It was the Target Stone. It worked just like the normal stone, except that the wishes would *always* be granted to one specific person, as if that person made the wish himself or herself. If that person didn't hear the wish, then he or she wouldn't notice anything different, just as how the normal stone worked.
But who was the target of this stone?
