The Boundless Stone: Making the World a Better Place

"I wish the world was a safer place," Jon said. Believing that he had his inherited stone, he knew that the wish would only affect his town and maybe a mile or so around it. But what he didn't realize was that his wish really *would* affect the entire world. Suddenly, the stone glowed brighter than it had ever glowed before. Even after they turned away from the glow and closed their eyes, they could still sense the light and heat emanating from it. And then the house shook, as though there was an earthquake. When the light and heat from the stone dissipated, Jon and Karyn looked at each other with wide eyes. "What the hell was *that*?" Karyn asked.
