The Maturity Stone: Derek Makes a Wish

"So, are we going to do this or what?" Derek asked, breaking Jon out of his thoughts. "Huh?" Derek became irritated, then took the stone out of Jon's hand. "Stop daydreaming and focus. We came here to make a wish. Remember?" He paused for moment, thinking. "Now, how did you word it? Oh yeah. I wish ..." Jon's eyes went wide. Jon knew nothing of what Derek was like in this new reality, but if he was anything like what he was normally, this was not good. Who knew what kind of weird and twisted wish he'd make? And on top of that, there was a good chance that he would age by a year, just like Jon had every time he made a wish. But what Jon didn't know was that even though he was hearing Derek's wish, his mind would change so that he would think that Derek was supposed to be a year older than he was now. And who knew if his mind would only change for that? Jon might even think that he was *supposed* to be friends with Derek or even that he was *supposed* to be emo.
