The Maturity Stone: Karyn Gets a Little Older

As the stone glowed, Jon became older once again, this time becoming 20-years old. He was now in his third year of college, or so he figured. After the wish was granted, he saw Derek walking off towards the school, back to his usual emo self. But he was alone. Where did Karyn go? He turned around to go back to his car, but stopped when he heard a familiar voice. "Hey, Jon. I thought you might be here." Jon turned around and saw Karyn. But she was older. Maybe ... late teens? She really looked incredible. "We had some fun times, didn't we?" Karyn said, referring to their high school days. "Yeah," Jon said, smiling that he got Karyn back. "Well, except for Sarah McMillan." "Who?" she asked. It just occurred to him that if she was older, more *his* age (like she appeared), then she wouldn't know who Sarah was. They probably never even went to school together. "Never mind," Jon said. "I'm just glad you're back." "Did I ever leave?" she asked, not quite understanding Jon's statement.
