The closest person to him was Zoe, seeing as their bedrooms shared a wall. Jon almost could have sworn he heard his sister whispering in his ear, "I love music," as his new TV appeared, but she wasn't even in the room so he shrugged it off. Just next to his new TV, Jon saw a stack of CDs forming. He looked them over. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Doors... these were Zoe's CDs. She was an aficionado when it came to 60's and 70's rock, and she took great pride in not only knowing what music she liked today, but also knowing the evolution of where it had come from. Jon was never really too much into music, in general. As Jon flipped through the CDs, though, he suddenly recognized track names on everyone from Velvet Underground to The Clash. Two decades of rock history flooded into his mind, guided by album covers and band names. Jon got dressed, grabbed his MP3 player (whose library had just quintupled) and strode out into the hallway to the tune of The Ramones, exuberant at his newfound tastes in music. As he passed the open door to Zoe's room, however, he noticed it looked different. Toned down. Did Zoe take down all her posters? Jon just shrugged and danced down the stairs. It was a good day for good music.
