Mm, I do like that better. I like the characterization of Hermes, as well :)
As regards my newest chapter ("The Sleeper"): this is just one of many possibilities, but the idea seemed good to me, and I think I like the result. If anybody has an alternative they'd like to throw out there, feel free, and we'll figure out where to go.
