The Spelling Stone: See the Show?

Jon decided to bring the magic stone with him to school, not realizing that this was not the original wishing stone, but instead the Spelling Stone. This would lead to some bizarre events he couldn't possibly predict. But we're getting ahead of ourselves. In any case, Jon met Karyn on the way to school, and they began to chat. "My cousin Lana got a part in her local community theatre production of *Guys and Dolls*." Karyn said. "But I don't know if I'm going to be able to see it. Work's keeping everyone busy, and I've got things to do at home." "That's too bad." Jon replied sympathetically. "I wish we could see the show." Jon realized that his hand was touching the stone in his pocket. However, as mentioned above, he did not realize that this was in fact the Spelling Stone. The Spelling Stone would change one letter of the sentence making the wish, and then grant the re-spelled wish. As a result, something unexpected happened...
