AI-Lips: Breakfast

As Jon got dressed, he noticed a tube of lipstick sitting on his desk. He picked it up and looked at it, then figured it must have been Karyn's. He put it in his pocket so he could give it to her later when he got to school. The reason Jon didn't know that the lipstick *was* the wishing stone was because, even though he was asleep at the time, he *was* within earshot of the stranger's wish. It's just that since he was unconscious, he didn't remember hearing it. ------ "Where is that boy?" Jon's mom muttered. Jane was about to yell upstairs to her son, but then stopped when she saw him walking down the stairs. "Your food is getting cold. Even *Zoe* has enough courtesy to be down here in time." "Sorry," he said, walking into the kitchen. His Goth sister Zoe was at the table. She didn't seem very pleased to be there and she barely touched her food. "Can I go now?" she asked. "You've barely eaten anything," Jane said. "I'm not hungry." Jane sighed. "Fine." Zoe got up in a flash and ran out the door. Jane sometimes wondered how her daughter could end up being so ... dissonant. Jane's friend Linda, who lived across the street. *Her* daughter turned out normal, so where did Jane go wrong with Zoe? "Okay, I'm leaving," Jon said. "What?" Jane asked, spinning around. "You just got down here. What about your breakfast?" "I'm gonna eat it on my way. Bye, Mom," he said quickly, then he left the house. Sometimes Jane couldn't figure her son out. First he wants to stay home and then he's in a hurry to leave? She shook her head, as she cleaned up the table.
