AI-Heels: Take the Bus

Going to the mall was easier on his ankles than going to school. For one thing, most of the journey was made by bus. Fortunately his leather handbag had a purse with money in it, so he could afford to make the trip. Jon rubbed his sore ankles as he patiently sat on the crowded bus, trying to ignore the stares he was receiving from men and women alike. All he needed to do was get to the mall, then buy some boy clothes and change into them in the bathroom. Problem solved. Just then, Jon heard someone's telephone ring. Several rings later, he realised it was coming from his handbag. "Oh *crap,* I have a cell!?" Jon quietly cursed in a dry, feminine tone. He fumbled around in the weighty bag for a phone. He muttered, "Jeez, why *do* women carry all this junk around with them?" A moment later he found the cell. Like most of this female body's possessions it was bright red. The ring tone had ceased and the phone reported a missed call from someone called **Drake**. As Jon pondered whether or not he should call this stranger back, an alert for a new answer phone message arrived on his phone. It was probably this Drake guy, leaving a message because he couldn't get through. Jon wondered if he should listen to it or not.
