(Some recycling of A51's prose here.) Just like before, Jon's wish wasn't granted the way he wanted it to be. Instead, his wish was changed to "I wish you were *Asian!"* "Don't you like me?" asked Karyn. "I bleached my hair for you!" *At least Karyn might not be stuck as a blonde forever,* thought Jon. *Her hair could revert to ... black?* He felt weird thinking that. *But what if she's stuck as an Asian?* "I even got implants!" Tears streamed from Karyn's new narrower eyes. "I know I'm not your type, but I tried ... Maybe if I got blue contacts?" "No!" shouted Jon. "This is all wrong! You used to be white! With red hair! Don't you remember?"
